Farmville on facebook brought to us by zynga is a very popular game where players can take on the role of a virtual farmer.
When the game begins you get to choose the sex of your farmer, and then you get to choose facial features. The game then goes into a demo mode and shows you how to play the game with text bubbles.
Move your little farmer over the ripe strawberries and eggplant by placing your curser on those plots and click. Your player will walk to that area and will harvest the produce. Once you have harvested the food on Farmville, you of course need to plant more after you plow the land.
Touch the icon, which appears to be a rake and use it to clear the land and prepare it for planting. After you use that rake which they call a plow tool, you will need to touch the large arrow before you can move on with the tutorial. I purchased eggplants and was able to plant them easily.
You can gain experience here, which will move you up in levels by simply inviting facebook friends to play Farmville with you. Once you get neighbors, you can help them out by tending their garden and this gives you the experience to raise a level.
When you raise a level in the game, you are able to unlock more items to purchase for your farm in Farmville. Items for purchase include animals, seeds, trees, decorations, and buildings for your farming enjoyment. Each item will give you experience points as you use it, but they will all make your farm more eye appealing which also gives you points.
In Farmville on facebook you can toggle on the sounds and music if you wish. I went to help Brittany as her farm had many crows stealing crops, I scared away the crows, and her cows mooed at me. I think preschoolers will love these sounds, so this is a family friendly game parents can play with their preschoolers. I grew tired quickly of the music so I turned that off but I can live with animal noises.
Items in Farmville here on facebook seem to be cheaper than they are in the other farm related farm games here on the biggest social networking site. It is much easier to succeed in this game because of that reason and the sound effects are cool.
